(EP) 15. Rāmō Vigrahavān Dharmaha

“On 22nd January 2024 … in Vamsy

The planning started the day the date was announced,
While the response was not that pronounced;
Certain things appear to have no head or tail,
As, it needs leadership to fight tooth and nail!

Once the programme was clear and straight,
The cultural committee began with its trait,
Bringing the Ram Mandir … drawn in our courtyard,
With more hands putting the best foot forward!

The Sundarakānd rendition resonated,
The glowing Diyās🪔🪔 mesmerised,
The procession of Rām Lāla peaked the celebrations,
The hoisting of the Lord’s flag exceeded all calibrations!

Though the wait was too long,
All believers echoed “we belong”;
The entire country celebrated the consecration,
So is Vamsy that came together with dedication!

Unless we have the mahāyōga,
Can we watch this in kaliyuga,
About Rāma from Tretāyuga,
Making it our births’ mahābhōga?

Does anyone recall his/her ancestors’ names?
His story is recalled even with different hymns;
Crossing the Yugās, the subtle carriers of time,
Here in lives Lord Rāma whose name itself is a chime!

So, uttering His name itself if sufficient,
To make one’s life so magnificent;
No generation can forget His Vigraha,
Because, Rāmō Vigrahavān Dharmaha! 🙏🙏🙏

Childhood, youth and middle age are keen stages of learning. I believe, the unlearning is a way to learn as we move forward from here, just as a satellite would detach itself from a few components to reach its destination. In this process, we might leave a few footsteps! Hence the effort to store a few ideas in English, Telugu and Hindi.
